The patient was in his early 50s and slim. He lived a healthy life, jogged frequently and went regularly to check-ups. I learned his story: almost two years earlier he had gone to see a urologist. When he asked how he was doing, the man replied that everything was fine – but he didn’t feel really well. He was tired, listless and not very efficient. But since that’s just a feeling, he said, he doesn’t go to the family doctor.
