The National Intelligence Center (CNI) has admitted this Thursday that a certain number of the independentists who appeared on the list published by ‘The New Yorker’ were spied on, but for the rest of the people who have been victims of wiretapping, among them The President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, has pointed out two possible ‘culprits’: a foreign country, or members of the so-called ‘sewers’ of the State.

This has been revealed by the ERC spokesman in Congress, Gabriel Rufián, after listening to the explanations offered by the director of the CNI, Paz Esteban, before the parliamentary spokesmen who make up the Reserved Expenses Commission.

“We left as we entered, there have been no official or unofficial secrets,” said Rufián, emphasizing that he was not breaking the law by revealing part of that appearance because the bulk of it has dealt with things already “leaked” to the media Communication.

As detailed, Esteban has gone to the commission with documentation that contained the judicial authorizations for the wiretaps carried out by the CNI, he has indicated that he could not speak specifically about the ‘Pegasus’ program and has not offered any solution to this situation.
