The Boston Celtics eliminated defending NBA champions Milwaukee Bucks by outscoring them 107-81 in Game 7 of the second-round series between the two teams on Sunday at TD Garden.

The Massachusetts club was particularly effective with its shots from downtown. The Celtics players have indeed made 21 three-pointers, which is a league record for a game number seven.
Grant Williams also tied a record with seven shots from downtown during an ultimate game. He shares the feat with Stephen Curry and Marcus Morris. The 23-year-old winger was his team’s leading scorer with 27 points. Jayson Tatum was no slouch with 23 points, six rebounds and eight assists.
In the Bucks’ camp, Giannis Antetokounmpo was true to form with 25 points, 20 rebounds and nine assists. He became the first player in NBA history to collect 200 points, 100 rebounds and 50 assists in a single series.
In the Eastern Conference Finals, the Celtics will face the Miami Heat. The first game of this series is scheduled for Tuesday night in Florida.
