The ‘beaches’ of Madrid Río will refresh the people of Madrid from this Thursday and throughout the summer after having been out of service for two years due to health restrictions due to the coronavirus pandemic.
It was the Environment and Mobility delegate, Borja Carabante, who announced this opening through his Twitter profile. “Citizens will be able to enjoy them every day from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.,” he specified.
These ‘beaches’ consist of three separate spaces that have several fountains with jets of water that come out of the ground and are accompanied by green and landscaped areas in their surroundings with trees that provide shade.
Municipal sources have specified that the opening of these beaches has been carried out with the approval of the Madrid Salud organization.
