Fred Chin is a slight man. The baseball cap and mischievous smile give the 72-year-old something youthful. It is the years of his youth that were taken away from him fifty years ago, right at this point. “My freedom, my future, my career, I lost all of that here in this place,” says Chin, looking around the bare room.
