The majority of Germans (55 percent) do not believe that the US government has recovered extraterrestrial flying objects. This was the result of a representative survey by the opinion research institute YouGov. The survey results show that 28 percent of respondents think the possibility of such discoveries is plausible, while 17 percent made no statement on the subject.

Most notably, respondents aged 55 and older are the most likely to say they do not believe in the existence of recovered alien flying objects, with 64 percent of this age group holding this view. The survey included over 13,000 people in Germany, all of whom were over the age of 18.

In a hearing before a US House of Representatives committee last week, two former military pilots and an ex-Secret Service agent reported sightings of unidentified flying objects. Supposedly “non-human” remains of such objects have been recovered.

The situation is being viewed as a potential problem for US national security. The reports of the flying objects have aroused growing interest and continue to raise questions. On Monday, the “Bild” newspaper also reported on a 177-page “secret UFO paper” with alleged sightings.
