According to media reports, rail traffic in the provinces of Namur, Luxembourg and part of Walloon Brabant will be completely interrupted due to a lack of staff. Rail services will be disrupted on Wednesday and Thursday due to a 48-hour strike by the train drivers’ union. Railway employees in Belgium regularly complain about deteriorating working conditions and call for more government investment.
