As part of the nationwide strikes by public sector employees, public transport buses and trains in Braunschweig will be shut down on Tuesday and Wednesday. This was announced by a spokesman for Braunschweiger Verkehrs-GmbH on Tuesday morning. Only school buses that drive directly to the elementary schools should be on the road normally despite the strike. On Wednesday, transport companies in Hanover, Goslar and Wolfsburg will also be on strike.
