In a traffic accident in Lower Bavaria, a patrol car left the roadway. Two officers were on their way to an operation on Bundesstraße 20 on Wednesday, the police said on Thursday. After they hit the guardrail on the exit near Aiterhofen (district of Straubing-Bogen) for an unknown reason, the car overturned. The two occupants were taken to hospital with minor injuries. The patrol car was totaled.
