A landslide in Colombia has confirmed the death toll to 20, including five children. Nine people were also missing, said the fire department of the Cundinamarca department. In the affected community of Quetame, a good 50 kilometers southeast of the capital Bogotá, search and rescue work continued yesterday, according to the civil protection authority of the South American country. On Tuesday morning it had rained so heavily in Quetame that several streams and rivers burst their banks and a torrential tidal wave formed in the mountainous area.
