A motorcyclist was seriously injured in a collision with an overtaking car near Groß Sternenberg (Stade district). The 43-year-old driver overtook a driving school car in front of him on a county road late on Friday afternoon. As the police said, he probably overlooked the motorcycle that was coming towards him. In a vain attempt to avoid the collision, the car also damaged the driving school vehicle.
The police were initially unable to provide any information about the identity of the motorcyclist.
