The basketball players from BG Göttingen have reached the second group phase of the Europe Cup. The Bundesliga team clearly won against Keravnos BC from Cyprus on Wednesday with 102:69 (41:33) and secured first place in Group I. In six group games, Lower Saxony had five wins and one defeat. The next round begins on December 6th.
Coach Olivier Foucart’s team dominated the match in Cyprus from the start. The North Germans were already leading by eight points at the break. The Göttingen team continued to extend their lead after the break and ultimately got the victory they needed without any problems. The guests’ best shooter was Zach Ensminger with 19 points.
