The Minister of Health, Alejandro Vázquez, has assured that one of the priorities of the team that he will lead for the next four years will be to develop the new infrastructure and equipment plan so that they are “modern” and “functional” so that they can be provided in the Community “quality assistance” with “advanced high-tech” equipment. In his appearance in the Cortes of Castilla y León on the program that he will develop in this legislature, the head of Health has guaranteed that “the necessary actions” will be included in this new program to have the radiotherapy satellite units already committed in Ávila , El Bierzo (León), Palencia, Segovia and Soria. The acquisition of the most cutting-edge equipment will be guaranteed through the corresponding “budget allocations”, assures Alejandro Vázquez, while stating that “new innovative purchasing systems” will be developed.
