The World SUP Festival Costa Blanca 2022 will be held in Santa Pola (Alicante), the event is made up of several days of Stand Up Paddle competitions and other types of water sports, so that everyone who loves this sport has the opportunity to enjoy of this nautical adventure accompanied by a unique environment. The event includes the following modalities: SUP, adapted SUP, SUP Rookie, Paddleboard, SUPfoil, WingFoil, SS1, SS2 and OC1.
The event, which will be attended by riders from all over the world, is organized by Daniel Parres, three-time SUP world champion. The event will have a program full of surprises to bring the large community of participants closer, the World SUP Festival Costa Blanca is more than an event, it is a tourist attraction that aims to make competitors enjoy this experience on the Costa Blanca and in turn bring this type of sport closer to people who still do not know it.
The event will begin on Friday, June 3, with the Spanish 200m Sprint Championship. Saturday 4 will be the star day of the event, the Eurotour will take place on the Island of Tabarca, the international test in which the participants have the 7 km Open modality and the 15 km Elite test. On Sunday, June 5, the event will end with the Spanish Cup. Throughout the weekend it is expected to have approximately 400 athletes.
