The Santa Olalla City Council, represented by its mayor Pedro Congosto and the Councilor for Social Welfare, Eva Rodríguez, has delivered a check for 958.67 euros to the Tea Talavera Association, represented by its members Tamara Martín Aragón and Ana del Yerro.
It is about the collection of the solidarity paella with which the major festivals of Santa Olalla were closed.
The plastic caps collected in the large solidarity container located in the roundabout of the Villa de Santa Olalla have also been allocated to this association. A selective collection of plastic that in addition to its recycling work has a charitable purpose.
The people of Santa Olalleros have wanted to contribute their grain of sand to this non-profit association, TEA Talavera, whose main goal is to ensure that people with autism spectrum disorder have the necessary means for their comprehensive development and social inclusion.
TEA Talavera brings together fathers and mothers of people with ASD, adults with ASD with decision-making and autonomy capacity and their families, as well as professionals linked to the defense, study, research and therapy of ASD.
This month of May is for Santa Olalla the month of its festivities, in honor of the Virgen de la Piedad, and this year has also been a month full of solidarity.
