A cyclist was hit by a truck in Barby (Salzlandkreis) and died. According to the first findings of the investigators, the 31-year-old truck driver was on the main road in the Groß Rosenburg district on Tuesday afternoon when the 76-year-old senior drove in the same direction on his two-wheeler. When turning, the truck then crashed into the cyclist, who got between the axles of the semitrailer, as the police said in the evening. The senior was seriously injured and reportedly died at the scene of the accident.
