A few days ago, word spread that running back David Johnson was visiting the Saints with linebacker Joe Schobert. The veteran players aren’t just visiting. They’re participating in the Saints minicamp.
Luke Johnson from The Times-Picayune reports Johnson, Schobert and offensive lineman Seniokelemete are among the Saints’ tryout team this week.
Saints coach Dennis Allen stated, “As with everything, we’re just looking to bring in guys we want to have a look at that could potentially help us at some stage.” “David Johnson is a great player in our league. He was someone I wanted to at most get a glimpse at.
Schobert was awarded Pro Bowl honors in 2017 and Johnson was an All-Pro in 2016. Schobert played 93 games, with 80 starts, and Johnson 87 with 63 starts.
Kelemete was a Saints player from 2014-17. He has 97 career appearances and 44 starts.
Quevedo is a freshman at the University of Central Oklahoma.
