After years of festive shortage, Sainte-Foy is back this weekend with its patron saint festival.
Volunteers from the associations are eager for a return to the celebrations. This program will satisfy everyone, young and old, and provide a fun and friendly environment for partygoers.
Friday, June 3rd, at 7:30 pm, the official opening of the festivities will be a cocktail reception. This will be followed by tapas and sangria by Podium jump. Saturday, June 4th, at 3:15 pm, children will have an appointment to see Zigo, the clown show. Older children can participate in archery and orienteering from 3:15 to 5 p.m. The aperitif will be served by Les Infat’s at 6:30 p.m. The traditional entrecote-and-fries meal (15 euro) will take place in a musical setting at 9 p.m.
Sunday, June 5th, will see the 8-kilometre hike, and amateur fishing competition, begin at 9:30 am. At 11:30 am, the communal pond will be home to Le Chaudron, a food truck that will serve food and music. Canoeing will be the focus of the afternoon. These 2022 celebrations will be closed with an Italian evening in a karaoke setting.
