An unknown person has stolen a safe from the storage room of a restaurant in St. Ingbert. The safe, which was probably stolen between Sunday evening and Monday morning, contained daily earnings in the four-digit range, as the police announced on Tuesday. The restaurant’s owners reported the theft to officials on Monday. The police are currently only assuming that there was one perpetrator who, according to initial findings, got into the storage room via a shaft in the delivery area of the restaurant.
