A black hole is an object in the room that are pressed together so closely, that it doesn’t fill anything – and so engulfing the both gas, planets, stars and even light.

Scientists have discovered a black hole that is so large, that it is according to the theory ought to exist.
It has previously been believed that black holes are maximum can have a mass as large as 20 times the sun’s size.
But according to a press release from the Chinese Academy of Sciences is the newly discovered black hole mass no less than 70 times greater than the sun.

“Black holes of that size should not even exist in our galaxy, according to our current models of the evolution of stars,” said Liu Jifeng, who is the leader of the team that discovered the black hole:
“LB-1 is twice as big as what we thought was possible. Now theorists have to take up the challenge to explain its size.”

A black hole is formed when a star, that weighs at least eight times as much as the sun, dies. Here collapses the star’s core and are pressed together to nothing, even though it will still weigh the same as before, the collapsed.
One of the explanations of how the LB-1 can be so gigantic Piabet is going right now, that hole is not formed by only one star, and the collapse, but perhaps is the result of two black holes orbiting each other.
another theory is that the black hole originated from a supernova – which is the last stage of a stellar explosion – segregating material during the explosion, which then falls back into the supernova and creates a black hole.
the Theory is possible in principle, but it has never been proven, so if that is what has created the monster LB-1, so this is the first time that the theory can be proven.
LB-1 is a so-called ‘stellar black hole’ which, as mentioned, is formed by the death of a star, and although it is not the biggest black hole ever found, it is probably the largest of its kind.
The black hole is located some 15,000 light-years from Earth.
For comparison, the distance to the Sun’s nearest star is 4,22 light-years, and it is still pretty far away.
