The Salvamar Nízar boat, from Salvamento Marítimo, has rescued a boat with 53 migrants, 40 men and 13 women, who was sailing 18 miles south of Gran Tarajal, Fuerteventura.
As reported by 112 Canarias, the notice was given by the Civil Guard who had evidence of the departure of a boat from the coast of Tarfaya, in Morocco, last morning. The vessel was spotted at sea by the ship ‘Seoul Spirit’.
In principle, all the occupants of the boat are in good health and have been rescued by the Salvamar Nizar, while the wait has been covered by a nearby ship. The occupants arrived around 11:30 p.m. at the Gran Tarajal dock in Fuerteventura.
