The wind power plant manufacturer Nordex received fewer orders last year in terms of output. The company announced on Tuesday that orders with a total capacity of 6.33 gigawatts had been received. In the previous year it was 7.95 gigawatts. At that time, however, the Hamburg-based company received a major order from Australia for one gigawatt.

Although Nordex was able to pick up the pace in the final quarter of 2022, it lagged behind the previous year: Order intake here was 386 wind turbines with a total output of 1.9 gigawatts. A year earlier there were 678 systems with a total output of 3.3 gigawatts. Looking at the fourth quarter, Nordex boss José Luis Blanco emphasized that higher turbine prices had been achieved.
