Rainfall Eases High Humidity in Indore District

Indore district experienced relief from the high humidity levels as light to moderate rainfall was observed in some areas. The maximum temperature reached 37.6 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature dropped to 23.8 degrees Celsius. The morning temperature in Indore was 27.4 degrees Celsius at 8:30 am with humidity recorded at 80%.

The weather conditions are expected to remain similar for the next two days with pre-monsoon activity bringing light to moderate rainfall in many parts of Indore district. The onset of monsoon is predicted to be around June 23 in Indore, with other parts of Madhya Pradesh likely to experience it between June 18-20.

The cloudy sky on Thursday morning created a pleasant atmosphere in the city, hinting at the upcoming monsoon season. Residents are anticipating the cooler temperatures and occasional gusts of wind that come with the monsoon.

According to the Meteorological Department, Indore is set to receive light to moderate rainfall over the next three days, with an orange alert issued for Ratlam, Ujjain, and Indore. This alert warns of thunderstorms, lightning, gusty winds, and rainfall in these areas. The remaining parts of Indore and Ujjain division are under a yellow alert.

Neighboring districts such as Dhar, Jhabua, Burhanpur, Ujjain, Dewas, Agar Malwa, and Shajapur have also been cautioned for light to moderate rainfall with thunderstorms and lightning for the next three days. The residents are advised to stay updated on weather forecasts and take necessary precautions during this period.
