Saturday, May 21 was the last rehearsal of the lodgers/volunteers of the association Couleurs du monde. This association has been organizing the Folklore Festival every year for over twenty years. At the invitation of the president, 70 people gathered at Palay village hall. Carlos Pinto was able to present the festival’s program for 2022 (1).
The event will be held under a marquee on Palay’s site, just like last year. The officials were forced to close the village hall in 2021 due to a health crisis and decided to organise this outdoor festival. Bet won. The public was there.
The event will feature new activities that are not on the official schedule this year. A free day for children will be held on Wednesday, August 3, with a group of Madagascarns, starting at 4:30 pm.
