prison-officers-stabbed-by-ms-13-update-details

So, like, a bunch of officers got hurt in this crazy attack at Wallens Ridge State Prison in Virginia. Apparently, three corrections officers got stabbed by some inmates in what the Virginia Department of Corrections is calling a “premeditated” attack that went down on Friday. And get this – a total of five officers were injured during the whole drama. The injured officers had to be taken outside the facility for medical treatment.

Now, the Virginia DOC is saying that three of the officers have already been let go, but two are still in stable condition. And get this – the DOC is claiming that five out of the six attackers are gang members from El Salvador who are in the U.S. illegally. Like, how did they even get into the country in the first place, right?

These gang members have some serious criminal records, including stuff like aggravated murder, first and second degree murder, and even rape. And get this – one of the inmates involved in the attack is a member of the Sureño 13 gang and is actually from the U.S. He’s serving time for second degree murder. Like, what a mess, right?

The Director of the Virginia DOC, Chad Dotson, is not holding back. He straight-up said that these attackers should have never even been in the country. He’s praising the officers for their quick response to the situation. Dotson is all about making sure the safety of the officers is the number one priority. He’s like, “Our officers are heroes, man. We gotta make sure they’re safe no matter what.”

The whole attack is under investigation right now, so the DOC is keeping tight-lipped until they figure everything out. It’s a pretty intense situation, and I’m not really sure why this matters, but hey, I guess it’s news, right? So, until the investigation is done, we won’t be hearing much from the officials.

But seriously, let’s give a round of applause to those officers who put their lives on the line every day. They deserve all the respect and support for dealing with this kind of craziness. Hats off to them for their bravery and dedication to keeping us all safe.
