The German Weather Service (DWD) has announced squalls and snow for the Free State. Accordingly, it should snow on Thursday during the day and on Friday night, especially in the Alps above 900 to 1000 meters, in some cases up to 20 centimeters of fresh snow are possible.

In addition, it should be stormy during the day: In Franconia, gusts of up to 70 kilometers per hour could blow. There, isolated thunderstorms with strong to stormy gusts are also possible in the west. There could also be thunderstorms in Swabia.

According to the DWD, the weather should remain cool and wet in the coming days: On Friday and Saturday, the experts expect rain at 6 to 11 degrees, which can turn into snow at night down to lower altitudes. The sky over Bavaria should also remain cloudy on Sunday, especially in the south it rains according to the DWD.
