In view of the reports on the extent of the espionage with the Pegasus program suffered within the Executive, Sánchez has decided to adopt forceful decisions and settle responsibilities. In the first place, the dismissal of the director of the National Intelligence Center (CNI), Paz Esteban, as head of the serious security breach that allowed some confirmed espionage on the mobile phones of the president and other ministers.
