Police Stop Borussia Dortmund Coach Ahead of Champions League Final
The Borussia Dortmund team coach was held up by police just outside of Wembley Stadium while they waited for their Champions League final opponents, Real Madrid, to arrive. The Bundesliga giants, led by head coach Edin Terzic, booked their spot in the final after defeating Paris Saint-Germain in the semi-finals. Police stopped the Borussia Dortmund team coach outside of Wembley to allow Real Madrid’s coaches to pass first. Both teams have been in town ahead of the final and have been training to get familiar with the Wembley pitch. Despite being significant underdogs, Terzic expressed confidence in his team’s ability to cause an upset in the final. The Dortmund boss stated, “Anything can happen in a final. We’ve played so many games this season to prepare for tomorrow.”
