A bloody violent crime took place in downtown Kiel on Saturday night. According to consistent reports from several media outlets (including Norddeutscher Rundfunk/NDR, “Kieler Nachrichten”), three young men were stabbed, some of them seriously. One of them was said to have been critically injured. A fourth man suffered injuries from a punch.

Unknown people are said to have asked one of the victims about his painted fingernails before a scuffle broke out, the NDR reported on Saturday, citing a police spokesman in the Schleswig-Holstein state capital. After the knife attack, the three to four attackers are said to have fled in a car. A description of the wanted person was not initially available on Saturday.
