Montenegro’s AD won the parliamentary elections in Portugal on March 10th, finishing with a slim lead over the Socialists, who had previously been in power. The election was scheduled after Costa resigned in November due to corruption allegations against those around him. Although the investigation against Costa himself was quickly closed, he did not run again in the new election.
