The president of the Popular Party of Castilla-La Mancha, Paco Núñez, said this Saturday that he wants to govern the region to turn it into a “first” region and warned that the time has come for “no one to put limits on us”, since that the PP “has come to serve the Castilian-La Mancha”.
The regional leader of the PP presided over the Autonomous Board of Directors of this party in Albacete, where he stressed that the Castilla-La Mancha in which he believes «is a land of opportunities, of freedom, a land that advances and grows and is supported by their peoples”. He added that the PP is the party that most “resembles our region” and that “the alternative to socialism is ready to govern because citizens can be what” they want, without limits, and we can be a land of first class and future”.
He recalled that, in the absence of a year for the regional and municipal elections, the PP wants to say loud and clear to the Castilian-La Mancha community that Castilla-La Mancha “is going to be whatever it wants to be because the citizens have no limits and We are going to allow them to impose socialism on us.” “After 40 years of socialist government, our region continues to have the same problems, with a region that continues to be at the bottom of all national indicators.”
In his opinion, this «is not the fault of the Castilian-La Mancha people because they are first class people, and perhaps the 40 years of socialism in our region have something to do with it. This land is made up of enterprising, dynamic, brave and hard-working people who get up every morning to raise the shutters of their business».
He reiterated that the Castilian-La Mancha «we are not going to accept that any socialist leader places limits on our region. The time has come to listen to citizens, and the PP has been doing it for three years, going through every corner and I would like to be able to listen to the 2 million Castilian-La Mancha people to find out the problems they have in their day to day ».
For this purpose, this party has its entire team in 919 municipalities in the region, and with the five provincial presidents, deputies, senators, mayors, spokespersons and provincial mayors. “It is the most important moment of the last three years. Thus begins the pre-campaign of the PP to look all citizens in the eye and tell them that our party has a clear vocation for government, that we have come to win the elections and to govern for them.
Paco Núñez reiterated that the PP wants a region where “increasing taxes and new taxes are not paid, and that we want to bet on employment, on the self-employed, on SMEs, on farmers and ranchers. We are not satisfied with anyone telling us that we are a second-rate land. We believe in quality regional healthcare, social protection, in the Third Sector, and in quality education, in freedom, where effort, merit and ability prevail».
«The rural world needs employment and a firm commitment to infrastructure. We are not satisfied with a tired Government, which does not take care of what is important”, he added, and criticized that Page “has not gone to Moncloa to fight for water and has not deigned to deliver to Sánchez the agreement of the Regional Pact for the Water. He has not told you that the fiscal policy and the family economy is unsustainable. Sánchez has been the worst president in the history of democracy”, and urged that general elections be called “so that Feijóo is the president of all Spaniards”, added the leader of the regional PP.
For her part, the deputy secretary of Social Policy of the national PP, Carmen Navarro, warned that “if the socialists believe that Castilla-La Mancha will continue to be their farm, they are very wrong. Today we have a party that revolves around the figure of President Paco Núñez, that there is no corner that he has not stepped on and has not left any countryman to help; a close president with good management experience as mayor of Almansa, with a serious and responsible project for the citizens».
