Aviation security forces are scheduled to go on strike at major German airports this Thursday (February 1st). According to information from the DPA news agency, the Verdi union has called for this. The Hessischer Rundfunk first reported.
It was said that the approximately 25,000 employees in the aviation security industry were asked to stop work from early in the morning. The strike should last until midnight. There was initially no comment from Verdi. The union had announced a statement for late Tuesday afternoon.
