A man crashed his motorcycle into a house wall in Nuremberg and succumbed to his serious injuries in the hospital. His motorcycle first got onto a traffic island in the Zollhaus district on Thursday afternoon, and then the man lost control of the vehicle, the police said in the evening. It was not immediately known why the accident happened. The identity of the man was still unclear.

According to the police, passers-by had given first aid before the emergency services arrived. State road 2225 was closed for the duration of the accident investigation. The police are investigating, and an expert was also used to clarify the cause of the accident.
