Six dead kittens have been discovered in a plastic bag in Neustadt an der Weinstrasse. Passers-by found the bag with the dead animals near Hambach Castle. They alerted the police. As the officials announced on Friday, they initiated criminal proceedings against unknown persons for violating the Animal Welfare Act.
