When Sebastian Erler sees a small aluminum boat approaching, he throws the rope ladder over the ship’s side. Six wooden steps bang against the dark hull of Erler’s fishing cutter. The “SAS 107 Crampas” is a few hundred meters from the harbor entrance of the Rügen coastal town of Glowe. Little wind; the Baltic Sea almost as smooth as glass. Best conditions for Andrea Stolte, who climbs up the outside of the “Crampas”. “Let’s see what we find today,” says the WWF employee in greeting.
