The memory of the music channel Viva, which was discontinued almost five years ago, is obviously still very present for many people. Former presenter Gülcan Kamps told the German Press Agency about an incident at the airport. Behind her there was a man who spoke to her about Viva and said: “You shaped my youth.” In the end they both even hugged each other. Kamps added: “That was a very sweet moment.”
The now 41-year-old was part of the presenter team on the Cologne music station Viva for years from 2003 onwards. The channel went on air on December 1, 1993 – exactly 30 years ago. The TV station was discontinued at the end of 2018.
