Shortly after the release of their joint single “Paradise”, DJ Purple Disco Machine from Dresden and British singer Sophie are on stage together. On Thursday (July 6th) they will be guests at the Mad Cool Festival in Madrid, as the musicians announced. On September 15th, the internationally renowned DJ and Sophie are coming to Dresden. Another joint appearance is planned in the Czech Republic.
Since their first song together “Hypnotized”, which was released in 2020, the artists have never stopped working together, Sophie told the German Press Agency. “We think alike and love each other’s music.” Sophie rose to fame with the indie pop band Sophie and the Giants.
However, the Dresdener and Sophie were only able to get to know each other after the release of their first song together. “Before, everything was done via Zoom and WhatsApp,” said the DJ, who was born in 1980. Another joint title was released in 2021. The single “Paradise” was released on June 16th this year.
