It was the last day before the summer holidays, for many students a day full of anticipation for the break. A 12-year-old girl from a Munich secondary school experienced terrible things that day.

Last Friday in the morning, the 12-year-old went with seven other people after school to a backyard near Heimeranplatz in Munich’s Westend. This is how the police describe the incident. There, a dispute between the 12-year-old and some girls should be clarified.

“In the further course, there were physical assaults on the 12-year-old, mainly by two female suspects. The 12-year-old was slightly injured,” the police told the star.

It is estimated that the crimes happened over a period of two hours. There had been verbal insults and individual blows, mainly by two perpetrators. “The victim was also made to kneel and apologize, but was not beaten.” The victim was then able to walk again.

Particularly perfidious: According to the police, some of the crimes were filmed with cell phones.

“The videos were viewed by the police,” a police spokesman told Stern. The crimes seen in it are definitely relevant under criminal law. “As far as we know, the videos have not yet been distributed on the Internet and we have not been able to find them on social networks either.”

Media reported that cigarettes had been stubbed out on the victim. “We cannot confirm that cigarettes were stubbed out on the girl based on the victim’s injuries.”

In the afternoon, a complaint was filed with the police in Munich. “It is an inhuman act,” said the police spokesman.

It is now being determined against seven suspects. According to the police, there are three males and four females aged 13 and 14. They are being investigated for insult, threats, coercion, theft and dangerous bodily harm. “Dangerous because several people were involved.”

The victim’s father told the newspaper “tz”: “Our whole family is in shock. My daughter was beaten and abused for three hours.”

The school of the victim and the alleged perpetrators was turned on, as a spokesman for the education department of the city of Munich told the star. “The victim was harassed over a long period of time in a way that is very shocking and shocking,” it said. This incident is “unique in its way” and nothing comparable has ever happened. The school concerned did not want to comment.

The victim’s father informed the school management about the crimes. The education department emphasizes that the incident happened outside the school grounds after school closed. The school management was on site on Monday, had the necessary discussions and also called on school social workers. The school psychologist interrupted her vacation to take care of the 12-year-old victim.

The suspects were also at school with their parents and spoke to the school administration, according to the spokesman for the education department. They are “greatly concerned”. The school informed the police after reporting the crimes.

Whether the alleged perpetrators will be expelled from the school is still being considered, the spokesman said. “But a disciplinary committee will decide on that. After the summer holidays, the committee will meet and discuss it.” Until then they would be banned from the house.

“At every school there are always arguments between students and of course there are generally arguments between young people, especially outside of school,” the spokesman continued. From the point of view of the department, the causes of conflicts are complex and affect young people from all social classes. The causes for this are very often in social networks, in exclusion and insults, “as in this case”. In most cases, the conflicts that arise are settled quickly.

Despite ongoing and good educational work, it is “really terrible” that such acts have taken place, the spokesman said.

The headmaster told the “Süddeutsche Zeitung”: “It’s so cruel and brutal, I’ve never seen anything like it in 25 years of school.” Some of the alleged perpetrators come from “difficult circumstances”, but have not yet attracted attention because of their willingness to use violence. According to the headmaster, the 12-year-old victim wants to stay at the school.

The incident in Munich is reminiscent of an act in the Schleswig-Holstein Heath that occurred in February of this year, the star reported. At that time, a 13-year-old girl was beaten and humiliated by girls between the ages of 14 and 17. The crimes were also filmed with a mobile phone and distributed on the Internet. The events caused horror across Germany. The perpetrators were warned by a court in June and sentenced to community service and anti-violence training.
