This weekend, the French cross-country cup at Le Bessat was won by the pilots of high-alpine aircraft.

Stephane Tempier (Rockrider VTS), took third place in the men’s elite. He was 38 seconds behind Titouan Carod (BMC Racing) and 21 seconds ahead of Jordan Sarrou (Specialized Factory Racing), who is the 2020 world champion. Stephane Tempier, after more than 1h30 racing, is ahead Maxime Marotte, (MTB pro-team) by 20 seconds, and Joshua Dubau (5th at 1’36 Gapencais). This is a good sign for Haut-Alpin, who was diagnosed with Lyme disease at March’s end. He should be there on June 18 to compete in the French marathon championship at Serre Chevalier. This is the first stage of the Alps Epic 2022.

Lena Gerault also holds the 3rd spot. Canyon CLLCTV representatives, Loana Lecomte, and Line Burquier trusted the Brianconnaise from KTM Vittoria to complete the podium.

Lilou Fabregue, under-19s, gave a masterclass in mountain biking by dethroning Jeanne Robin (2’33”). Scott Creuse Oxygen’s ambassador and Scott Creuse Oxygen representative, Lilou Fabregue, won her category. Boys side: 4th U19, Bas-Alpin Athys Bedini, Ornans superior, fails to place.
