The gardens are celebrating their tenth year anniversary with Gerald Chambord, the owner. He has worked tirelessly to ensure that his gardens are ranked among the top ten must-sees in the region. Les jardins du Coq also features a tea room, a shop and an artistic gallery. This year, three artists have shared their work with visitors. June saw Richard Malpas’ photography and painting exhibition; July saw Penelope Allen’s painting exhibition; August saw Veronique Panajol’s photo exhibition.
The opening hours for the gardens will be open from June through August. They will be open 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., and 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Open from Tuesday through Sunday, the exhibitions are free and open to all, but you do not have to visit the gardens. Visits to the gardens cost 7 euros for adults and 5 euros for those aged 10-17 years. Children under 10 years old are free.
The “Rendez-vous aux Jardins” weekend, June 4/5, will see the site open as usual and will have a reduced entrance fee of 5 euros. Children under 10 years old are free. Last admission at 11:05 a.m., and at 5 p.m.
