The Valladolid Chamber of Commerce presented the 2022 SME Award to Bodega Matarromera on Tuesday, during an event held at its headquarters with the participation of its president, Víctor Caramanzana, the Minister of Industry, Commerce and Employment, Mariano Veganzones; the Councilor for Innovation, Economic Promotion, Employment and Commerce, Charo Chávez; the vice president of the Valladolid Provincial Council, Víctor Alonso Monge; and the territorial director of Banco Santander, Javier Martín Calvo.
The president of the awarded company, Carlos Moro, has thanked an award that is “very positive” for his winery and for the people who work every day in a “certain direction”. “It helps us to achieve new heights from work and tenacity day by day,” he said after collecting the recognition with “great humility.”
Moro has defended the involvement of his company with Valladolid and Castilla y León and explained that they take their land to the rest of Spain and the world. In addition, he has encouraged the potential producer of the agri-food sector to go abroad and remarked that in the Community “there is a group of fantastic entrepreneurs, but we are few,” reports Ical.
