They are considered lacking in empathy, manipulative, egocentric – and statistically they make up about 0.4 percent of our society: narcissists. In Germany alone there are more than three million people with a diagnosed narcissistic personality disorder.
Those affected are friends, partners, siblings – and not infrequently parents. Especially when it comes to parenting, narcissists often reach their limits. Because narcissists have trouble forming a loving, deep connection with other people.
