A dude was spotted on the new video clip attacking a kid out of nowhere on a Queens sidewalk, giving her a hard smack across the face that made her tumble to the ground. But wait, it gets even crazier according to prosecutors.

The crazy footage from May 10 shows a guy strolling up to a 9-year-old girl who was playing outside near the intersection of 67th Place and Central Avenue in the Glendale neighborhood, as per Queens District Attorney Melinda Katz. It was a little past 4 p.m. when the man, known as 31-year-old Feliz Enrique, approached the girl and asked for her name. When the girl replied, Enrique can be seen in the video pulling back his right hand and then slapping her in the face, causing her to fall down.

A few folks nearby witnessed the attack — even an off-duty NYPD sergeant. When the officer tried to step in and catch him after the incident, Enrique apparently bit off the tip of the sergeant’s right index finger. The Queens DA mentioned that Enrique not only took off the fingertip, but also took a bite at Sgt. Sebastian Hajder’s knee. “The dude is accused of going up to a defenseless child and hitting her in a random attack. A nearby off-duty police sergeant and two onlookers saw this insane incident happen and immediately jumped in to grab the dude,” Katz stated. “As the off-duty officer struggled to hold him down, Feliz Enrique bit the sergeant on his knee and hand, causing permanent disfigurement to the sergeant’s finger.”
