In Obernkirchen, Lower Saxony, an unknown person threw a strange small dog onto the ground with full force while he was walking him, thereby killing him. As the police in Bückeburg announced on Thursday, the man apparently felt “disturbed” by the Chihuahua, which was being walked by its 50-year-old owner.
According to officials, the incident occurred on Monday. Accordingly, the “probably drunk and very unkempt-looking” suspect picked up the dog and threw it forcefully onto the sidewalk before walking away without a word. The owner immediately took her animal to a veterinarian, but after treatment it died of its injuries.
According to the owner, the man he was looking for was around 40 to 50 years old. The police began an investigation and asked witnesses for information about what happened.
