A lottery player from North Rhine-Westphalia and a lottery player or a betting pool from Slovenia have won the Eurojackpot worth a total of 120 million euros. The lucky ones can now look forward to 60 million euros each. With the winning numbers 2, 3, 6, 15, 35 and the two Euro numbers 1 and 3, two players or two syndicates were correct after twelve draws without a main prize, as Westlotto announced after the draw in Helsinki.
The winner from North Rhine-Westphalia is 42 years old and lives near Siegen, said a spokesman for Lotto24. The man had redeemed his betting slip at this internet provider.
So far there have been two German lottery players who have completely secured the 120 million: a winner from Schleswig-Holstein in June 2023 and one from Berlin in November 2022. The first 120 million euros went to Denmark in July 2022. More is not possible, because the European lottery with 19 participating countries is capped at 120 million euros. Every additional euro played flows into the next prize category. The probability of winning the Eurojackpot is 1 in 140 million.
