The Junta de Castilla-La Mancha has confirmed that during the week of June 6 to 12 there were 2,060 new cases of coronavirus infection in people over 60 years of age, the only group on which the count now focuses. The province of Toledo registered 771 cases, Ciudad Real 494 cases, Albacete 293, Guadalajara 253 and Cuenca 249. These 2,060 are some more than the 1,917 that were counted the previous week.

In addition, last week there were 33 deaths, of which 11 were in the province of Toledo, 10 in Ciudad Real, seven in Albacete and five in Guadalajara. The previous week there had been 15 deaths.

As for those hospitalized, there are now 383: 371 in a conventional bed (27 more than last Tuesday) and 14 in the ICU (eight more).

Of the 14 patients admitted to the Intensive Care Units who need a respirator, the province of Toledo has five, Albacete four, Ciudad Real three and Guadalajara two.

Of the 373 admitted to a conventional bed, the province of Toledo has 119 (82 in the Toledo hospital, 36 in Talavera de la Reina and one in the National Hospital for Paraplegics), Ciudad Real 85 (39 in Alcázar de San Juan, 30 in Ciudad Real, seven in Tomelloso, five in Puertollano, three in Manzanares and one in Valdepeñas), Albacete 79 (62 in Albacete, nine in Almansa, five in Hellín, three in Villarrobledo), Guadalajara 68 (all in the Guadalajara hospital ) and Cuenca 22 (all in Cuenca).
