A violent riot involving up to 40 people broke out in front of a boxing club in Euskirchen on Sunday. Two men aged 26 and 40 were stabbed. The 40-year-old was taken to the hospital, but according to the police on Monday, his life is not in danger. Police officers arriving at the scene fired a warning shot, after which most of those involved ran away. An 18-year-old man who is said to have carried out one of the stabbings has been arrested. The police and public prosecutor’s office in Bonn began investigations into suspected attempted homicide.
