The celebrations ended with a volunteer day. Heir to the throne Prince William visited a scout club in Slough west of London with his wife Kate and children George, Charlotte and Louis.

A total of more than 1,500 non-profit organizations wanted to take part in the Volunteer Day under the motto “The Big Help Out”. The organizers hoped for hundreds of thousands of participants.

Although the king and queen “unreservedly support” the volunteer day, according to the palace, they “did not want to personally attend any events.”
Charles, 74, and Camilla, 75, were crowned in London on Saturday. On Sunday, the coronation celebrations continued with tens of thousands of street parties and neighborhood picnics across the country and a major pop concert.
