Back in action after failing doping tests in 2021, Quebec boxer Jean Pascal met the 175-pound weight limit on Thursday for his scheduled fight the next day in Florida against China’s Fanlong Meng.

Pascal (35-6-1, 20 KOs) posted exactly the allowable weight, while Meng (17-0-0, 10 KOs) showed up on the scales at 174.6 lbs.

The two boxers are set to face off on Friday in an IBF light heavyweight playoff bout.

For Pascal, 39, it will undoubtedly be a decisive fight for the rest of his career.
