“Thank you for your patience, everyone!” Cecchini also wrote on his Twitter account on Wednesday evening after the agreement in principle announced between the Canadian Football League and the Players’ Association regarding the collective agreement.

A few days later than expected, training camp can finally begin in Trois-Rivières. As of Thursday, the players had to report to the Diablos stadium at the Cégep de Trois-Rivières. More training will follow on Friday and Saturday.

No more time to waste: the Alouettes must play their first preseason game in less than 10 days, on Saturday, May 28, in Hamilton.

The Montreal team will continue its preparation by facing the Ottawa Redblacks on Friday, June 3 in Montreal, before starting the season in Calgary on Thursday, June 9, against the Stampeders.
